Do you need to be single mother to apply for section 8. Or it doesn't matter?

  • No, marital status is not a consideration. Income is. A larger family size has a higher income cutoff.

  • no you don't but if any kind of way you or your dh is making halfway densent money it won't fly

  • i believe you just need to be either disabled, working or in school to apply. i don't think marital status applies.
