  • Beef Broth, veggies and elbow noodles. Boil the noodles, retain some of the water and add as much broth as you can, then add veggies. Boil a little bit and you can have veggy soup.

  • Make the hamburger helper (without the meat) and just mix in the veggies.....I do it all the time. If you have it, you can also butter some bread and sprinkle with garlic to go along with the pasta.

  • Is your macaroni a box of mac and cheese or just elbow noodles?

If boxed macaroni, just make that and the mixed veggies.

If it's just elbows maybe you can make the noodles with the beef broth (for some flavor) and have the vegies on the side.

Do you have any beans (kidney or something) to add protein?

  • I would cook the pasta & steam the veggies and use the beef broth to either make a gravy or make it into pasta veggie soup.
