Baby poop question (1 month old) adult content

Okay so my 1 month old always squirts small amounts of poop when she's mad. Like she will cry/cough when shes mad about changing, when hungry, fighting sleep, or whatever. It is a small amount about the size of a dime or nickle area. Thank goodness I have switched to cloth diapers because it was costing me a fortune. But should I repeatedly change her for every squirt of poop? I dont think i would ever get done changing diapers!!!! And by the way she is edxclusivly breast fed (so yellow poops). I dont want her to get a rash but im not sure what to do about the little squirts.

  • I usually did change her after the squirts (also use cloth)... thankfully that phase doesn't last very long

  • If I just changed his diaper and he has that little squirt I'll wait a little, but sometimes I just change anyway

  • My baby is 6 weeks and has the same "sharting" issues as yours. We overlook baby's sharts, just as we do husbands. :)

  • My LO shot poop all over the window at the end of the changer when she was about 3 weeks a freakin' fire hose because she was screaming probably at being changed!!!!! I have never seen such a mess. She would also do the little squirts too. Just keep cream on her bottom....mine would get a horrible diaper rash if I left poop in her diaper more than 10 min.!!! Diaper rash is horrible.

  • ya my 5 week old will scream at us since we have her diaper off and shoot poo all over too :P SUCH A MESS!!!!!!! but I am actually using cloth diapers so we have had no diaper rash problem since switching from disposable to cloth (not to mention all the money we are already saving being able to wash all the squirts instead of throwing them away) i am just waiting for this shooting poop phase to pass and wanting to keep her little all at the same time <3
