Do you use it if your kid's head is super pointed after a natural birth or what?

  • Usually they are used when your baby develops a flat head in the back from sleeping on its back so much.

  • Yes, that kid is wearing one. They're for shaping a round head in babies that don't have round heads for a number of reasons...

  • they help a baby that was laid down too much reshape their head where it was flattened. the cone head goes away naturally.. flat spots can too with changing positioning if its not sever however sometimes a helmet is needed to correct it. honestly i never seen a baby with one on, so it could be.. anyone i knew only had minor cases and it wasnt needed.

  • Lots of parents leave their babies in their carseats for hours each the car, in the grocery cart, at the restaurant, etc... Even to sleep through the night!

These babies develop a flat spot on the rear of their head, and these helmets are designed to help re-shape it--while allowing the parents to keep up their same behaviors of keeping their kids in the carseat...
