  • idk that they were ''necessary'', but they sure were more convenient than several loads of extra laundry.

  • Pull ups are just super expensive diapers with velco. I have had far quicker results with straight to undies (having done both ways.)

  • ..i suppose i was fortunate.. my daughter, suddenly, overnight, was potty trained. literally.. on a tuesday. i do use pull ups, tho, when our schedule is awry and she drinks within a few hours of her bedtime.. an accident usually follows.

  • I never used pull-ups and we had very few accidents...I don't think they are necessary at all

  • We tried them, but they are still too diaper like so it was like giving my daughter permission to potty in her pants since she still felt like she was in a diaper.

  • I only liked them for teaching "up and down" besides that, they're diapers.

  • only at bed time do i use them occasionally because our bathroom is downstairs.. but yeah they are mostly a waste, they hindered potty training rather than helped it.

  • My daughters just pulled their regular diapers up and down until they were ready for panties. Then they did fine. A couple accidents in panties, which is to be expected for the first couple weeks...but nothing worth $14 a bag for pull-ups to me!
