  • My mom hated both of my dds names. i don't care... .it is mine and my dhs decision, not hers. in fact, i found it quite rude of her to voice her opinion so strongly and in a mocking way over my oldests name.

  • So tell your Mom to call her Beth or Lizzy or Elizabeth. My Grandmother hated my sisters first name and has never called her by it. She uses only her middle name.Its become a special thing between them.

  • My family gave me a hard time about my girls' names too, but then agreed once they were here that "Blythe" was definitely a "Blythe" and "Esther" was definitely an "Esther".

    She will either grow to like it, or she wont, but either way, she needs to stop.
