my husband only worked 3 months this year and only made 10,000 in that time we have 4 children my ? is can we still recive our taxs and if so do we qualify for earned income creadit?

  • Yes - I've been a tax preparer for over ten years (nothing fancy, just families and small businesses, I do it pro bono and people pay me with diet coke, of all things :-). But yes, your income and family size will allow that you can receive all taxes w/held from your husbands check plus EIC.

  • it'll prolly help u as far as getting ur earned income. my husband and i had very low wages, under 15,000 2gether 4 awhile, with 2 kids we maxed out the earned income credit...meaning we got themost they.ll give u. at the time i think we got 2500 n earned income. and don't 4get 2 claim preschool if u have ur chidren go...ur preschool has a tax id number!
