  • Not while in prison. Once their prison sentence and parole is over I dont see why not? They would have served their time. My fil is an ex felon and votes in NC.

  • i really don't see why they shouldn't. i mean, not everyone in prison is 'out to get revenge'..some actually are serving their time, as accordingly awarded by the court for their wrong(s).

  • Not while they are still in prison. Once released and they have paid their debt to society then of course.

  • Not while in prison, but possible when they have served their time. I think it all depends on why they have a felony too.

Answer by scout_mom at 1:54 PM on May. 21, 2011

  • Once they have done their time I don't see why not.

  • YES! and to say otherwise is ignorant. should they in prison, no. but what makes a felon any less of a citizen? someone who had a drug habbit 20 years ago is now somehow uncapable of voting like a "normal" citizen.

  • Not while they are incarcerated, they should lose all of their rights, imo...

Answer by agentwanda at 5:57 PM on May. 21, 2011

  • Not till they have paid their "debt" to society.
