  • Nope. Too worried of infections and bacteria. Of course I am still only 23 weeks so, I wouldn't try right now anyways. With my other 2 I didn't check myself either. I left that up to the doctor.

  • I did with my second pregnancy....you need to be pretty flexible though.

  • Don't be scared, it's not a big deal.

    BUT what is the point?!?
It doesn't give anyone any *useful( information.

Checking the cervix isn't really a helpful-good idea for anyone to do.
( * But are you having preterm labor?)

  • I would not. I never even thought about it. I figured that the baby would arrive when it was ready.I wouldn't want to risk an infection that could harm the baby or me during labor.
    Just be patient.

  • So you are almost done, that is so great!!
    :-D

There is no reason to check your cervix at all then~ great news!
You don't need to do it and it's helpful to avoid asking others to check you, too.

    Good luck!
