Do your inlaws knock when they come to your house, or just come on in?

  • No one ever just walks in my house. I keep the doors locked!

  • Mine live 3.5 hours away but they are very polite and call at last aweek in advance if they want to visit and yes they knock

  • Simple solution to that one! LOCK your doors! No one who does not live there, has the right to walk into your home without your permission.

  • No they don't. It's rare when anyone stops by without first calling to see if someone is home and since I'm expecting them I don't mind when friends and family just walk in.

  • Locking the doors does seem simple, only with our schedules we are in and out of the house all the time and it's a hassle. If our door is locked and she comes before we are up (we lock it at night) she goes around the house banging on the windows to get us up. Yeah, she is pretty crazy. )c:

  • My inlaws have never been to any of the houses that DH and I have lived in together. Then again, we live in WA and they live in TN. I guess that's one plus to having a military DH!
