How accurate is an ultrasound? when givin a due date? and why do ultrasounds add a extra two weeks to pregnancy i dont get that

  • Not very accurate. It is better to go off your LMP. And nothing can add "two weeks to the pregnancy" the baby will come when it is ready.

  • THAT 2 weeks thing is the conception time, but i dont know about ultra sounds being very pinpoint that baby is coming whenever she or he is ready, my first was said to be sept 24, then oct 1, she came sept 13 healthy happy and ready to come home :)

  • If done around 10-12 weeks it's very accurate. I've had 11 pregnancies and they never added to extra weeks. Unless your talking about gestational age which is when the baby was conceived.
