  • Yes, there are many. We prefer the breeds that don't shed. Any Schnauzer, Poodle, Beijon ( sp?)  and I can't remember the rest. But any mix with these breeds do not shed.  They need grooming but make great pets without the pain of shedding hair on everything.

  • For the most part all dogs will shed, even short-haired ones. We were told that boxers don't shed but they do. I have a boxer and he sheds...I only notice it on my clothes though...I have never noticed it anywhere else.

  • Yes we are planning on getting a dog.

I know all dogs shed, we just want one with short hair.

  • I would advise you to research breeds and she what suits your family and lifestyle. Then go from there. I have a boston terrier/mini schnauzer mix and she sheds.
