My daughter graduates next weekend and I was thinking of doing this...

having champagne with a strawberry on the rim of the glass and the sparkling cider type in a glass for the younger set

  • Congrats to you and your family! Graduation is a celebration for the parents asmuch as it is for the kids! Go for the Champagne! Blueberries are great in champagne too because they float. And you can also do a Ginger Mojito for the kids (mottle fresh mint with Ginger Ale and ice & a little OJ Concentrate)!

  • Why not cider for everyone? I would leave out the alcohol altogether.

  • yes it is high school and I am not one of those nice parents who lets the kids drink with the adults but will provide plenty of other things for the underage to drink

  • I think that's a great idea - let the "under 21" crowd enjoy a toast with the legal folks.
