What is a great community/place to live in or near Nashville?

We are most likely moving from Buffalo to the Nashville area this summer. We are a young couple with two girls, seven and four years old. My husband is in ministry, so we currently live on a limited income. We are looking for a nice, family friendly community in or around Nashville - more like a less populated suburb. A great elementary school is a must - our older daughter has a severe chronic disease and besides a great education, needs caring teachers and aides that will really look out for her well being, health, and safety. We know nothing about the area, but are simply looking for a friendly, middle-class town, with great schools. We welcome any suggestions and thank you for your help!

  • Giles county is nice but it 45 minutes away from nashville. Its gonna be really expensive if you move right near or in nashville.

  • Spring Hill is nice. It is about 20 miles south of Nashville and the schools are very good.
