I got Preeclampsia at the end of my pregnancy last time around (4yrs ago). We are wanting to have #2 soon. I am trying to lose weight -- I gained alot of weight with #1 and have had alot of problems getting it off (im at 220lbs).
What are the chances of me having preeclampsia again? Is there anything I can do to prevent it so i can have a more healthy pregnancy next time (dd was small 5lb 12oz)?

Talk to your OB... I had it the first time too. I didn't really loose much weight, had # 2 two years & 4 months later. But, I had Gestational diabetes with #2. They just watched me closer the second time around. My kids were born at 39 & 38 weeks, 8lbs 9 oz for #1 and 9lbs 12 oz for #2!! Talk to your doc for the best plan of action!!
