Sugar Ants...

My husband and I just recently bought our first home and looks like we have sugar ants. How can I get rid of them without using harmful chemicals, or is that the only remedy? Any info would be helpful, Thanks!

  • Clean like the dickens, figure out where they're coming in & seal the hole, and spray white vinegar all over (around perimeters mainly, and wherever you saw them).

  • We cleaned and scrubbed everything and it didn't help much. The only thing that made a tiny dent in them was those little Terro bait things.

  • I just read that instant oatmeal will do it. Also, there's the borax and sugar water. I also read baking soda can be used instead of borax, but haven't tried it personally.
