Best product to regulate digestive system? TMI

This is an embarressing subject but ever since I can remember I have had issues with bowel movments. Some weeks I go a few times a week others maybe once. Also I have noticed if I eat certain foods such as beef my stomach gets very upset and I end up going all night. Recently I am back to not going as much but when I do I get severe severe stomach pains and go multiple times. Moral of this TMI story does anyone else have similar issues or have used any products such as Metamucil, Align etc and found them to help? Because clearly i need help is this department haha

  • First any symptoms might be associated to a medical condition. So it might be good to see a gastroenterologist.
Water is the best product. Drink lots a water during the day. Plus fruit ans veggies are good for the digestive system.

  • I agree that probiotics may be a great way to go. Do you eat fruits and veggies? Whole grains? If not, definitely time to make a switch! DO it slowly, or it can stop you up initially even more so. Be sure to drink plenty of water, too. Try to cut out processed foods, because the additives can do weird things to your digestive tract. Good luck!!

  • Innate Choice Probiotics are the best on the market. The trick to probiotics is how many strains of bacteria are in them. and Innate Choice has 15 billion strains!

Our whole family takes these and we swear by them!

  • Honey sounds like irritable bowel syndrome or colotis. I'm not a doctor, but you probably need a medical appointment before you go trying a bunch of different supplements. I'm so sorry to hear you don't feel well, hope you ge better soon.

  • Probiotics. None of the yogurt stuff, none of the "brand name" stuff, just a good quality probiotic - the ones that need to be refrigerated are best. They help with so many issues, not just keeping the bowels healthy.
