What's with the adult acne at 42?

Very upsetting to have acne breakouts at my age. Dr Oz discussed this this week, and says it's not uncommon for women over 40. It is not a happy event. Can anyone else relate?

  • I am 44 and still have acne/breakouts...but I have had them since I was 10...I never outgrew it. No one believes I am 44, though, so it isn't all bad ;)

  • LOL ladies! Too bad I don't have my teenage figure, then the teen acne wouldn't be so bad!

  • I do at times also. I swear by plain old Noxema and use witch hazel after I wash. I can't say enough about witch hazel! It's cheap and a great astringent without being too drying.

  • I do too, mostly with hormones, although lately it seems there is no reason. I hate it! I wish I had an opinion on a good product, but I don't.
