  • No, my family has been here since the 1800s - unless you count the Native American in me and of course they've been here for thousands of years! The most recent person in our family to come from anywhere else was my great grandmother from France.

  • Second. My MIL moved here from Japan when she was in her 30s, my LP was first generation born here, and then our children. The Japanese have names for each generation born here that I should ask about.

  • Second. My DH is from Vietnam, but came here when he was 2 years old. I am of course a mutt.

  • No. They are second gen on DH's side and 3rd on mine.
