How do you keep bananas from?

turning brown when you use them in a fruit salad or anything?

  • Lemon, lime, pineapple juice will help.

  • My mother said putting lemon juice over apple stops apples going brown, should be the same for banana's I'd have though.

  • yeah, lemon or lime works real well. The acidity stops oxidation.

  • Lemon, lime or pineapple juice will help. I nearly always add some pineapple to fruit salads, so I just add a little extra juice!!
