Is Jergens lotion okay to use on my boys?

They have severely dry skin, they do not get bathed daily, I have been using Aloe Vera on them yet but it just is not helping. is Jergens okay to use on them, primarily their hands/arms and butt/thighs? If not what do you recommend to use? They are 4 and 9.

  • Yeah they can use jergens. My boys use my body oil as soon as they get out of the shower lol. Try eucerin on them though it they have extremely dry skin, It works wonders!

  • You can use Jergens on them, don't see I reason not too if it helps them.

My dd Amy has very bad dry skin, almost like eczema. I use Aquaphor healing ointment (it's really thick) and Eucerin intensive repair lotion. I also have her wash using dove moisturizing body wash. It really helps.

Your smart not to bath them daily, dries out the skin. Amy usually baths twice a week and I need to keep the water almost luke warm, if it's too warm it bothers her skin.

I would use this on my son if he needed it, but he's 13 and has the opposite problem, very oily skin.

  • I agree with Eucerine, it's good. But Jergins can't hurt.

  • Jergins should be fine. I have used my lotion on my kids before

  • I've been using Jergenst overnight repair on my 4 & 5 year olds for almost a year, on their hands/butts/legs. I love it, they love it, it works better than any other lotion.

  • If you use Jergins, get a version with no scent. That or Eucerin.

  • I would use a natural lotion with no scents of chemicals, health food stores/sites usually have good things.
