Whats the easiest way to clean the carpet in my car?

  • You could always go to a carwash and use their shampoo thing - not sure how expensive it is though

  • My DH use to detail cars for a living...he says the best thing to use it hair shampoo. Add shampoo to some warm water and get it all sudsy...use a scrub brush and use just the bubbles/suds...not to saturate the carpet with the water, that way it dries quickly and doesn't leave a musky smell. It works great on our cars and the carpet in the house.

  • I always rent the little carpet shampooers to clean the van carpet. Either that or I use the resolve stuff and scrub manually.

  • I vacuum mine with the nozzle attachment of my vac and then I use my Spot Bot wet vac to deep clean.
