Include whereabouts of wish list items on invitation?

We are sending out my 4-year-olds birthday party invites and I wonder if I should include info on where her "wish-list" is? She has compiled one at Toys R Us -- (of course a lot of items cheaper at Wal-Mart) -- but I am wondering if I should put that somewhere on the invites?
I am thinking no -- just wondering your thoughts?

  • a list is nice then you know what others are purchasing and not take the chance of duplicating the gift

  • I don't know what the etiquette is for birthday parties these days... it's still considered declasse to do that for bridal showers.

We always ask what the child wants when we RSVP.

  • I wouldn't. I think "wish lists" are only for weddings.

  • I agree with both ways as well -- Many would appreciate the suggestions, while others may find it offensive or tacky!
