Getting married in the state of florida. answer if you know for a 100% fact please

I am not a resident of florida. But I want to get married there what all do I have to do?

    If you are a Florida resident there is a 3 day waiting period unless you do a pre-marital counseling course. But if you aren't a resident it doesn't apply.

  • I'm getting married in Florida as well. It depends on the county. You need to go to the county's website and it will tell you what needs to be done. Generally, there is no residency requirement if you are a resident of another state.

  • I know that I have a relative who bought their license in SC and got married in NC and their marriage wasn't valid. They had to marry in SC. Make sure you check on the license requirements!
