Nursing Strike :(

So we've been spoiled rotten by our 4 1/2 mo DD, she's been perfect......until this past weekend!! Dun dun dun......I've heard of nursing strikes, but geez what do you do when this happens?! I work full time so my time with her is limited. I'm guessing her being home with daddy all last week due to pink eye has a lot to do with it, and I'm glad they had their bonding time, but waaahhh what about me? lol I pump at work, and I did a little over the weekend when she refused to nurse, but I know I can never pump out as much as she gets while nursing. Is there anything you recommend besides letting her cry til she's starving? Thank you :)

  • Give her a TINY amount in a syringe to take the edge off. Spill a little on the nipple. Latch. It works.

Also do not wait till she's frantically looking for food... feed her when she DOESN'T seem very hungry right now.

See for info on how to stop a nursing strike.
