  • An evergreen variety would be very easy to care for - they are very hearty.

  • I think it would depend on the particular bush or shrub.

  • Bushes and shrubs are the same thing. Googled it. All bushes and shrubs have to be trimmed. Evergreen bushes grow slower so they do not have to be trimed as often.

  • A bush and a shrub are the same thing. Evergreens grow slower and typically need less trimming.
It all depends on if it will be growing in shade, full sun, if you want it tall or do you want a ground covering shrub. Peruse your local Garden Center and see what you like and THEN figure out how much work it takes. Do you want it groomed looking or wild looking etc. Its all personal preferences. I love my azaleas to grow wildish and my neighbor makes theirs look like little balls.

  • I would go to a local nursery and ask them.

  • They are pretty much the same thing and just be careful with what you get, especially if you are putting them close to your house. You will have a lot of roots and some get super big. I am not a huge fan of shrubbery.

  • If you want low maintenance... I might look into a different type of plant.
