Why do you think the United States is experiencing so many deadly/ destructive storms and weather?

I know my answer, just curious to see what everyone else thinks.

  • I agree with GemGem. Weather is cyclical. If you go back into history you'll see weather related tragedies and anecdotal evidence of weather patterns like what we experience now.

    For example, people wanted to make something out of all the snow the Northeast saw this past winter. Yet we forget, the Revolutionary War was fought during a time of extreme cold and snowy winters that never really matched up to the way winters went by in the same geographic area during the 1980s through early 2000s.
