  • Never. The American Academy of Pediatrics says AVOID walkers, as they are dangerous and DO NOT teach babies to walk.

Mine was walking at ten months. No walker required.

  • Walkers delay walking. My son learned to walk at 11 months old.

  • All my kids used walkers but never walked in them they just hung out, then the older one would push the baby around in the walker so they never put their feet down. But my two oldest were walking at 8 and 9 months and my 7 month old is starting to try to walk.

  • Mine never had a sit-in walker as those are not safe and really do not help with learning to walk at all. Mine did have some push toys that they would 'walk' behind and push.
