Do you think Chad could be a nick-name for Chandler?

  • You can nickname him whatever you want. So if you like Chad as a nickname for Chandler, then go for it. It's not like his name is Benjamin and you're nicknaming him Chad. I can see how you could get Chad out of Chandler. I like it.

  • You can choose any nickname you like. I don't think most people will know Chad is short for Chandler but that doesn't make it a bad nickname.

  • Aww I love the name Chandler...but I've always thought Chad was it's own name lol..I'm probably wrong...anyways nicknames don't always have to be a shortened version of the real name...My son will be Richard Jr but since I don't like any of the nicknames derived from Richard, we're going to call him Sonny....that's the great thing about a nickname...it can be anything you want =)

  • i think if you wanted it to be it could very well be it doesn't sound weird. But if you don't want it to I don't think it would get shortened . I havn't heard of it happenin before
