  • I let someone stay with me for 6 months once; unfortunately, it was 5 months 29 days too long.

  • I wouldnt let anyone stay with me. Period.
Those kinds of situations almost never end well and most of the time create major drama where there shouldnt be any

  • I would never let anyone stay with me. I like my space and anyone intruding would drive me crazy. Your relationship with that person would probably not be a good one afterwards.

  • My answer is definitely different than it was years ago. We've decided to not let anyone stay with us anymore.

  • Letting family or friends stay with you never turns out well. Somone usually gets their feelings hurt and the relationship takes a long time to fix.

  • I did for two yrs, a nephew from my dh, and boy did we had problems...... I would definitely wouldn't have anybody staying with me anymore... but if it was a vacation, perhaps just the weekend.... no more then that!

  • That's a tough one. I think it really depends on the person and situation. My sister let me stay with her for 6 months while I got back on my feet after my divorce. I paid her rent and it all worked out fine, but if it was just a friend, probably not.
