Do youhave to have a prescribtion for melatonin?

Heard it works great and I am having severe trouble sleeping so it seems worth a try

  • grr i didn't mean to hit post yet lol. They have 3mg, 5mg, and lately i have seen and been using 10mg delayed release. I usually buy melatonin and valerian root and take them together. works for me most times.

  • No. You can buy it at GNC, Vitamin World and probably even Walmart. Although it is natural, it can still leave you a little groggy in the morning, so maybe start out with the lowest dose.

  • You can buy it just about anywhere without a prescription. I tried it hoping that it would work and I had no such luck. Hope it works for you! I just dumped a couple of bottles out.

  • no just buy it in the vitamin section. i think dollar tree may have some but im not sure. it knocks me out but so does a benydryll
