Why

does it seem like everyone is rushing their girls to grow up so fast? Hair extensions, fake nails, fake tans, high heels, strapless dresses...Let little girls be little girls.

  • My daughter is 8. Honestly, I never see that. Most of the girls wear t shirts and shorts.

  • Sad because in the rush to make them Jr models, the real and important tasks of growth, development and imagination are lost/forgotten/stifled. Ick to sexualized little girls-

  • I agree completely! It annoys me trying to shop for my 7 yr old dd. Why do all the shorts barely cover the butt and most other stuff is way too hoochie? I want my little girl to look like a little girl!

  • I agree totally. Little girls may want to be like their mom, but as parents, it's up to us to draw the line.
