Here in Olathe Kansas it is .09 cents per dollar.

  • Chicago: it was 10.25% but was reduced to 9.75% last summer.

  • States with low sales taxes often have high property taxes. Then there's income tax......

  • We do not pay sales tax here in Oregon. We pay a state tax.. My husband and I pay 9% of every dollar earned in state taxes.
