What are your favorite

high in potassium foods? I am allergic to banana's.

  • avocados!They have more potassium than bananas. Potatoes are also high in potassium

    clams, tuna, raisins, carrots, tomato juice, yogurt...just about ALL beans are LOADED with potassium, broccoli, chick peas - these are all foods loaded with potassium.

  • ALL whole foods have potassium. Processed foods have, in their processing, lost their potassium, which has been replaced by sodium.

    I've printed out this list of high potassium foods, and put it up in a cupboard.  I hope it helps!  The RDA for potassium is 4700 mg per day.
