  • Guesstimate, around $200. I budget $110 a week for my family of 4, and that usually covers one night of fast food. That also covers HBA items. Usually, I spend around $50 on meat. But I don't budget seperatly for it so I'm not positive. And there are weeks I don't buy any meat because I am using up our stash.

  • We have a family of 4 (five if you count our daughter's boyfriend who eats here at least 4 nights a week). I spend about $150 a week on all groceries and household items. Of that about $30 - $40 a week is spent on meat. We actually spend a little more in the summer since we grill a lot and less in the winter when I do more soups and stews.

  • I have a family of 6. We usually keep venison for months in a freezer as well as purchasing half a cow, and I buy chicken on sale and save it in a meat freezer. So I honestly don't keep track. :P

  • I budget about $120 a week for groceries and household items. I probably spend about $30 a week on meat, more in the summer and less at different times of the year because we fast from meat for religious reason. But we make up for it by purchasing more veggies and beans....it evens out in the end.
We have a family of 4 (but our children together count as 1..because they are both under 3 and don't eat as much)

  • very little, but then I don't do much cooking these days. I buy ground turkey, chicken, and lunchmeat regularly and probably don't spend more than $25 a month on it. However, we eat out more than we should AND there is only the 2 of us adults and a toddler.
