What (if any) bug spray do you use on your kids?

I usually do not use them due to chemicals, but the mosquitos are so bad here this year and they are eating up my kids! Do you know of any that are safer than others?

  • I would NEVER put chemical based products on my children! I either make or buy all chemical free products for them. Through the summer, we use Neem Soap. Neem is a natural insect replant. I get mine from Soap Alchemy, because it's locally made and I know the quality is awesome. But there are other Neem based products you can use as well.

  • I use OFF DEEP WOODS on myself and the kids. It is the ONLY bug spray that actually works, for mosquitos are TERRIBLE here. The kids have never had any bad reaction to it.

  • Usually OFF. Last year I got the kids one of those anti-bug bands. It worked very well. It was only for a picnic, so I don't how they work for an extended time.

  • Have you tried those clip on bug repellents (I haven't) but it is worth a try.
