Any idea how much an unsafe turn ticket is in CA?

I plan to fight it. The officer was wrong but in case the judge doesn't see it my way what am I lookin' at?

  • Yep, I paid $450 about 5 years ago. In CA. Wasn't very fair either. The light was green for a turn, and the person in front of me answers her cell phone while turning coming to a complete stop! The light changed to red in the meantime. Got unsafe turning ticket.

  • Just contest it - sometimes the officer doesn't show up and the ticket is dismissed.

  • yea a little over 400
    i recommend traffic school to save u money on insurance
    i recommend setting your court date to a different day AND changing the location so the police officer will not show up (less likely)
    since he wont want to drive the extra distance...take a fam vacation and thats why you had to reset court locations. good luck
