Gateway computer, upgraded to Windows 7, now internet stops working randomly...

Any ideas what the heck is wrong? The comp is a few years old and ran on Vista. Genius husband "upgraded" to Windows 7 and now the internet will just lock up and the comp needs to be restarted to use it again. We don't have the Vista disc and I'd love to know if anybody had a clue to what is wrong?

  • It's a Gateway. Seriously, that's the majority of the problem. Gateways suck. I live right by where they used to make them, I know people who used to build them. They. Suck. If at all possible, get a new computer. It'll be worth it.
