Is anyone treated for hypothyroidism and continue to have symptoms?

My blood work keeps coming back as within the normal range, but I have just not felt well since I got the diagnosis after giving birth 4 years ago. I take Synthroid which helps but I want to feel back t my old self again.

  • I am hypo. I was diagnosed when I was 13 (now 29). I've been on different levels of Synthroid since then and my levels have never been normal. They may get into the normal range for a little while but then they change again. It's a huge pain in the butt and I never quite feel right.

  • Yep. Thinking of trying something different. Considering asking about Liothyronine (Cytomel) . You might just need to switch brands.
