  • My daughter, now 14 walked at 8 months. At this age they concentrate on either motor skills or verbal skills. She walked early and my son talked early.

  • He could. My older son was cruising furniture at 6 months and standing at about 8-9 months. He took his first step at 9 1/2 months and was walking at 10 1/2 months. He was also an early talker. Usually they do one or the other but some kids do both early. he said his first words at 6 1/2 months (several of them) and was speaking in complete sentences by 12 months.
He's the 2nd of 5 kids. My youngest is 10 months and can't stand on his own and is just now showing interest in walking while holding hands. They are all so different.
