Writing an e-book about what women want men to know. I need your help!

The book is full of quotes about what women want men to know in the following categories:
1 – About Women
2 Feelings
3 Thoughts
4 Wants
5 Needs
6 – What We Want From Men
7 – What Men Should Not Do
8 What We Want Men To Learn To Do
9 Women’s Lifestyle
10 What Annoys Women

We're gathering quotes from women of different backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, ages, etc. If you want to contribute, we'd love to have your answers! You can answer some or all of the above topics, or answer multiple times to each topic. All we need if you answer is your first name only and age (this way it stays rather anonymous). Quotes can be one word such as 'chocolate' or between 1 and 3 sentences long.

I'd love to hear from any of you who'd like to contribute to our book! This is our chance as women to help men in general understand women in general better! Your contribution can be to your man or to men in general!

Thanks in advance!

men should not say all they want is for us to be happy and then continue playing video games when there's cleaning that needs to be done
Men should know we are happy to clean our own messes but not theirs!
They should know times are changing and more and more of us are going on strike when it comes to doing their laundry, making their dinner AND cleaning afterward, and picking up their crap around the house in general.
They should also know we are not "complex" we are just smart

"When you say 'i have needs' that doesnt mean you should go make yourself a bad reputation"

"Us woman really want romance not a Wam Bam Thank You Ma'am"

"Brush your teeth or make sure your breath is nice when talking to us closely"

"Even though we are irritated by you snooping through our stuff, it doesnt mean we have something to hide."

I'm your wife, not your mother.

You want to really get me in the mood? Skip the flowers and nice dinners ... clean the house or do the laundry or get to at least ONE of the 100 projects you promised to finish.

Speaking of promises, keep the ones you make ... no matter how big or little.

Please, no flowers or chocolates for my birthday, Valentine's Day, etc. Those are "default" gifts or the easy "go to" gifts that have no real thought behind them.

"Guys are like lava lamps ... fun to look at but not too bright."

We women can spot a lie a mile away.

  • Wow! Thanks Liz and American Sugar! I haven't used all of these, but most of what both of you said has gone into the book along with your first name and age! Feel free to contribute more as you think of things! Also, feel free to get your friends and family who are women to contribute! We're also looking for a few answers from girls starting at 12 years old and up to get a well rounded perspective. Answers can be about brothers, uncles, fathers, friends, boyfriends, fiances, husbands, future boyfriends, male co-workers, etc etc for any age!

I'm looking forward to seeing what more of you have to say!
