How old where your kids when you stopped...

letting them take a bath or a shower with you or your SO/DH?

  • When they no longer wanted to, but we do shower and bath with our youngest whenever she asks us to shower with us.. I don't think it's a big deal.

  • myy dd is 18months and she NEVER took a shower with me or my husband

  • we never did that. i tried once w/ DD around 16 months but she freaked out when the water hit her (shower) and DS is too little for that.

  • Right around 3 is when my hubby stopped taking showers with my little ones and I still will if we are in a hurry or if it is more convenient.

  • When he learned to sit up on his own. It was a lot easier to bathe him in the bathtub after that.

  • I take my DD's 2 year old and 9 month old in the shower with me almost everyday, then I don't have to worry about them waking up or destroying the house, I don't have to hurry up, and they get a bath too. Plus they love playing with all the containers and washcloths. When ever they want to stop is when we will with in reason, my DD will strip and climb in with me if I don't take her.
