What do you think of the name Britain Elsie Fisher for a girl? Edit*

No were not British but am totally in love with the name? Please give your opinions of if you like it or not, I don't get mad at peoples opinions.

  • For me, the difference is, if you spell it like the country...her entire life people will ask her if she was named after the country. But I know a little Britton, that is why I suggested it. Up to you, obviously! :)

  • Will she have any nicknames? I love the way the name looks, but here's my one drawback: I think EVERY time you tell people her name is "Britain", they are going to hear "Britney". Automatically, just because she's a girl and Brittany/Britney/Britanie, etc is soooo popular, and Britain is so uncommon, you are going to constantly be correcting people (and so is she when she's an adult). Just my take. I really do love it and think it's beautiful, but it would drive me crazy to have to correct people all the time. (I already do; everyone thinks "Alice" is "Alex"! haha)
