Is it weird that my boyfriend is thinking about paying me to keep his kids this summer while he works?

My mom has been telling me to get a job this summer and he needs somebody to watch his kids and it would be cheaper for him if i just watched them.

  • I think he should pay you. It is a lot of work and he would have to pay someone.....

  • IMO...DON"T DO IT!!! Believe me, it will chance the dynamic of the relationship, NOT in a good way. Daycare with other children is what the children (and you) need. I really hope you'll say no, in a nice way, no hard feelings

  • You risk going from GIRLFRIEND to EMPLOYEE. As long as you are prepared for it, then go for it.

  • Thanks for the replys. My mom told me that it would be weird that he would be paying me but I didn't really think so. We haven't decided if that is what we are going to do or not but we might. Thanks again everybody!
