Troublesome coworkers?

I'm sure we all have them - is there one person who you (unfortunately) have to work closely with, that just makes your day MISERABLE?! I have one, she's a complete B*ITCH in the 4 years I've been with the company. My prayers were answered last week - she put her two weeks notice in!

I guess where I'm going is - do you have a horrible coworker? What have they done to make it impossible to work with them?

  • thats the problem with this one - she's on the same level as me! same licenses, she's just been here 7 years longer then I have been. you ask her for help, she rolls her eyes, sighs, huffs and puffs - i got so aggravated the one time i told our supervisor that i couldnt work with her if she's going to keep acting like that.

  • There's one in every bunch, isn't there? LOL Yes, I have one. She actually "sabatoges" projects to say our unit "screwed up". I used to not believe it when I first started, but after 3 years here, IT'S TRUE! What a hateful, vindictive woman! She has been "written up" numerous times, but management lets her "slide" waaaaaay too much. Maybe she will retire soon!

  • Years ago, a belligerent coworker blew up at a meeting at our boss. She had a bogus degree and the supervisor was trying to get her to confess in front of all of us as witnesses. It backfired and she pracitcally had to be restrained from our boss. It was very ugly but what a relief. She would try to boss me around a lot personally as welll as professionally.

  • I've been in two work situations where I was the only one who could get along with the "difficult" employee so they always scheduled me with them. Just because I didn't clash with them didn't mean I foudn them pleasant or easy to work with. I didn't like it either. Yes, there's always at least one in every bunch. Glad your Broomhilda has put in her notice!
