Does anyone still have to .....

Does anyone have to still remind teenagers to brush there teeth? This morning my son was watching tv instead of brushing teeth. That made me so mad. Im like really, u don't want me getting on ur case but u aren't being responsible for urself. If u don't want me to yell then y don't u do what u know u need to do. Ah hello....

  • Not anymore, he's 14 now. I still do sometime out of habit. I swear sometimes(when he was 12) that boy would forget to use soap and shampoo if I wouldn't say, "Son don't forget to use soap and shampoo when you shower tonight." True story.

They won't be dirty for ever...promise.

  • Yes! DD is 14 and does a very poor job with her hygiene.  I've been told this is 'normal'.

  • At 10 & 12, I still remind them every night to brush teeth & wash face. Their started to get zits. Then complain about their faces breaking out. My 10 yr old son, I still watch him brush his teeth.

  • I do have to sometimes with my 13 yr old, but not too often. Both of my boys take good care of themselves and like to look nice most of the time. There was a time though when they had to be reminded to use soap and actually wash while they were in the shower. I think that's probably pretty common with young boys.
