At what age did ur baby go from two naps a day to one nap a day?

my daughter is 9 months old and she's been giving me trouble with her sleep schedules. she'll wake up at 7, have her 2 naps a day and won't sleep til like 12! she used to have 2 naps and be in bed asleep by 8:30 or nine.

  • My son was around 9 months when he started giving me trouble with taking his second nap. I kept him up an hour later from his first nap & made his only nap of the day longer. Lol losing that second nap really threw my day off for a while!

  • LOl,, My DS took 2 short naps untill he was 3,,I would just see how she does by not putting her down for the am nap, maybe she will go to sleep a bit earlier for the afternoon one, and then she might go to bed earlier!

  • they go from two to one naps around 9-10 months (some 12 months, some a little later etc) - every baby is different. my son has only been on one nap a day since 9 months old, and even that one nap he battles against it! try putting her down an hour later then her usual morning nap - my son now naps around 12:00 noon until 2:00 - he used to go down by 10:00 cuz he is up at 7 (early riser!)

  • I have five kids, all of them were different. Some took naps until a later age and some never napped! If they are staying up too late...take away a nap....
