Pants for skinny kids

Are there any brands of boys toddler pants that fit skinnier kids better?

  • I answered on your other post - the adjustable waists don't adjust small enough for my kids! But 2T generally is slimmer cut than 24 months.

  • I had to make all of my DS's pants until just recently. He is now 4 and the shorts and pants, which are adjustable, finally fit him. I was unable to find pants and shorts that would fit him.

  • For shorts you can go with a smaller size and adjustable waist. For jeans look for "slim fit" and an adjustable waist. If you live where it's cool to be a "cowboy" try Wranglers basic style in a slim. I found one slim fit style of Levis was also much slimmer than any others. I think I bought them at Kohls. Definitely avoid any thing that says "loose fit" or "full cut". One style of the Jumping Beans at Kohls is also slimmer than the others. You can also take many of them up a bit when the adjustable waist is still too big.
