  • My mom swears by a herb called Elden berry sold in teas at most health food stores. It's good for your immune system.  I know when my sinus are acting up I breath over a pot of hot steamy water.  Some health food stores have a herbalist who can actually tell you what you need.  hope you feel better.

  • I've heard you can skip most cold medications or use them less often by chewing a couple Altoids Curiously Strong mints.. I've tried this and it does work!

  • Try a neti pot to safely and effectively clear your nasal passages.

Take 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon mixed with 1 tablespoon honey; works great on sinus congestion.

Vicks Vapor Rub on your feet at night will help to break up the cough.

  • You can try a homeopathic remedy called histaminum hydrochloricum. It works very quickly for my family. Dissolve one under your tongue in the morning and at bedtime. Hope this helps.
