My 13 year old daughter picked out a birthday gift for me when my Dh took her out... she got me a mini donut maker.

I am so excited. I was wondering if anyone knew of any glaze recipes for donuts.

  • Donut shops just use cake icing. Heat it up in the microwave

  • I use a tbsn of warm milk, some shortening and powdered sugar. I add the sugar until it's good enough for me. Then the warm milk. If it's too thick add a little more. If you want a flavor just add it. Takes about five minutes to throw together.

  • Sorry fogot! Use a whisk or a mixer. And a shot of vanilla extract.
